Order of business number 1: Bitterness doesn't look good on anyone
Order of business number 2: On this blog, I am going to write about how my team wants to win, hopes to win, deserves to win... I will also talk about when we win, when we lose, and everything involving the team. If you don't like this, don't read it. If you don't like my silly poems or silly comments don't read this. If you are on a rival team and you are reading this, my question for you is why? Also why are you offended? This is about MY TEAM, GUILFORD WOMENS LACROSSE so I'm going to write about things important to us, and if you don't like it I suggest you not read this.
Order of business number 3: Parents, I understand if you were offended by the previous post that has now been deleted. It was something that should have just been shared with teammates and not the entire interweb. If you ask your daughters I'm sure they can tell you the background behind the post and it may make a little more sense to you.
Order of business number 4: Unfortunately, our end of the season was a little disappointing. Shelly got hurt (BOOOOO) and we just could not get our team to work. However we did play an AMAZING game versus Mary Washington! Easily one of our best games of the year. We made it to ODACS, but lost to Lynchburg (gross). I don't know what was going on towards the end of the season, but the fire and drive we had at the start was like slowly slipping away until all that we had left was just nothing. We tried everything but nothing was working to bring us together which is so unfortunate because of how much TALENT we had. If we had been able to pull together as a team, we could have destroyed people. I'm not sure why this never happened, but don't worry I think that everyone is determined NOT to have a season like that again. But hey it wasn't all bad, we beat Greensboro for the 6th year in a row! It's kind of funny because at our athletic awards ceremony they had all the teams that beat Greensboro stand up to be recognized and our Volleyball team beat them 3x in one season... so that's pretty baller.
Anyways, it is finals week (grosssssss) and I know everyone has been at Club Berry (the most exclusive club in Greensboro) aka the library all week. I've been avoiding it because I know I'm just going to run into people and end up talking for 6 hours instead of doing work. All I have left is a 7-8 page French paper on the Enlightenment. FUN!!!! just kidding.
However I am SUPER EXCITED because 1. I get to move into my new apartment with FEENEY on Friday!!!! We have already decided we are going to have a fabulous and cute apartment!!! Yay yay yay yay!!! Then on Saturday we have our team lunch at Susannas casa! Coach, you BETTER make your spin dip!!! For all those who don't know, Coach makes the BEST BEST BEST artichoke spinach dip ever in the world. And then on Tuesday my mom is coming to help me set up my apartment! I am excited for that too!
In other news, Erin, Summer, and I have bought tickets to see LADY GAGA in concert in September. Erin and I have already started countdowns and are having daily dance parties to her music. Its Gaga-licious!!
Anyways I have a lunch date with a good friend in a little bit and a paper to write, good luck on your finals ladies!!!!
