Str8 up. I just had to quote my favorite song for the title of this one because its so true, we are certified gettin it... HELLO 3 WINS in our first week!!!!!!!! We beat Greensboro Wednesday, Marymount yesterday, and Denison today!!! Honestly that is so amazing and I am so proud of everyone because everyone played their hearts out this week. I know everyone is exhausted and needs a break tomorrow which is great because we have it off. This weekend was also super great because a lot of our parents came to visit us and spoil us because hello we won and are awesome :) and of course they love us ♥ haha.
Well Wednesday we have what is going to be an intense game, so everyone better watch online! We are playing Rochester Institute of Technology meaning two things. 1. they are from New York meaning they are probably mad good and 2. they go to an institute of technology so they are probably super nerds. It can go either way, but I'm betting on the first one so we gotta bring our A game. I mean maybe its a combination and they will whip out their calculators to start calculating scoring averages during the game or something. Who knows? But we are going to DOMINATE is all I'm saying. Unfortunately our game on Saturday the 6th with Kenyon was canceled due to unfortunate circumstances (the team got banned by their AD from playing a bunch of games... hazing perhaps? its a mystery we will probably never know the answer to) but to make up for it we do have a scrimmage against some team from Pennsylvania so that will be $w33+ aka sweet.
What isn't sweet is that it may ☃ snow on Tuesday. HELLO IT IS ALMOST MARCH get this snow junk OUTA HERE. I'm ready for the warm beaches of Myrtle... well probably not warm but not SNOW on them beaches of Myrtle is all I'm saying. Also practicing in the gym is way not fun compared to outside on our beautiful turf. I'd rather have the ☀ and warm. It's March, it needs to not be cold anymore. Are you listening Mother Nature? I'm talking to you.
In other news, I did kind of hurt my knee in our game yesterday but I'm hoping I'll be back to play on Wednesday. It was not fun to sit on the sidelines all game helplessly cheering and not being able to do anything. But what can you do. Carrie also sustained a beating today in our Denison game, knocking heads (kind of like those crazy mountain sheep things) with a girl and now she is going to have a beautiful bruise on her face, but hey we got the ball sooo... alls well that ends well (don't worry I've spent my afternoon reading Shakespeare).
Anyways have a baller week!
