“Life is all about timing... the unreachable becomes reachable, the unavailable become available, the unattainable... attainable. Have the patience, wait it out. It's all about timing.” -Stacey Charter
Finally a little bit of... quiet and homework? I cannot believe it is April already, I feel like it was August just last month. Ha, though I'm excited about wrapping up my first year of college because I'm so excited for the many adventures and different classes to come for next year. Speaking of which I will be signing up for my fall semester courses next week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get the classes I want, because I plan to take two English courses and two Japanese courses in the fall.
Well I must say this week wasn't as busy on the class front compared to the work front. This week's Spring into Guilford seemed like it went quiet well, and as one of the student workers in the admissions office, I know how much effort went into making Spring into Guilford run smoothly. I was excited to see how many students and parents were on the tours and visiting Guilford Campus, especially the tour groups who came to Milner Dorm. I just hope my room was clean enough for people, and I hope the wasp and yellow-jacket that also decided to pay a visit to my room found it to their liking too. But I have to give KUDOS to the AWESOME admissions office ladies. They rock! I know they worked hard. I couldn't have better bosses. And I mean that 100%! I can't wait for next week's Spring into Guilford.
On a different note, classes are running full speed ahead. I have papers and tests all over the place this month. I just finished a Sociology paper on Socialization through Gender. I have a research paper on Romance Novels for English coming up in the next week as well as a paper on a subtopic from the book "Cheese and Worms" for History. Math is math, learning about functions kind of makes me wish they didn't exist but they do. I just wish Math liked me a little more. And last but not least Leadership Seminar is always a blast! I have a paper due Tuesday for that class so I will be wrapping that up soon. I just am still so excited that I will be an Orientation Leader this upcoming Fall.
Well, at least it is warm outside here in Greensboro. I'm so glad Spring has truly decided to grace us with its presence. I am so tired of cold-wet weather, I want the sun! So hopefully next week I can work on my homework and readings outside while hopefully getting a small tan, without the sun-burn.
On that note my lovely readers, I'll be back in a couple of days, so take care of yourselves, be safe, be well, and be you! Have an amazing weekend! I have some work to finish and then hopefully some much needed down time! ^_^
