“Sanity - that which is within the frame of reference of conventional thought.” -Erich Fromm
This week has felt like a somewhat crazier week than most weeks. Monday seems so far away and yet I can't believe it is only Thursday, I feel like it should be Saturday or Sunday. This week just seems to be dragging out more than it should. I had a paper for History due Tuesday. I have a paper due today for Sociology, while I have my English paper due Friday. Then Saturday I have a LEAD Conference to go to in Durham, NC. Fun, busy times.
Coffee has truly been a big help. I think since being in college I've picked up a Starbucks Frappuccino addiction. Mocha Frapps have become one of my best friends since being at Guilford, though I do not like to pull all nighters, I stop homework at 1 o'clock in the morning, so late night Frapps almost seem rather pointless, but they are just so good, and the vending machine here on campus sells them cheaper than anywhere else I know. But I really did need a coffee to get me through my Sociology paper which was based on Generational Differences.
But on another note, classes are going well in addition to coffee and papers, midterms and other various tests are coming up in my classes, so yet more busy weeks to come before Spring Break. Also work is still awesome as always. Though sadly I had to take the day off yesterday in order to work on papers.
Hopefully if I am lucky I will be going to movie night here on campus hosted by C.A.B., because I really want to see "The Princess and The Frog", I have yet to see it and I heard it was a good Disney movie. Yup, my secret, I'm a HUGE kid at heart. But even though it has been a long week so far, can we get a hooray for the Sun making an appearence?! I'm burnt out when it comes to this cold, wet weather. But I will admit Guilford is beautiful when covered with snow.
Okay my lovely readers, I'll be back in a couple of days, so take care of yourselves, be safe, be well, and be you! Have an amazing weekend! Okay, I've got a few more things to do before I can call it a night, day? Blogging after midnight is fun. ^_^
