“We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.” -Buddha
Finally the snow is clearing out or should I say melting away, though a pretty little birdy told me there may be even more snow in the days ahead. Don't get me wrong I love snow, but I must say I just want Spring to come already. I cannot wait for warmer weather! Oh and a small shout out "Who Dat!" Hooray for the Saints winning the Super Bowl!
Anywho, it has been a crazy last couple of days here on campus, well at least on my end. I just finished writing an English paper this morning on two magazine ads from Marie Claire magazine and Iron Horse magazine. It was quite the interesting topic, compare and contrast two similar ads from two magazines applying to two different demographies. European History is going smoothly; this week's topic is the "Baroque Age." A little fact about this age: Between 1600 to 1715, the “Baroque Age", there were religious wars happening, territorial expansion, and a time where new scientific discoveries were being made in Europe. Math, well, math is math. We are learning about theorems, for instance one common one is: A squared plus B squared equals C squared. Sociology is starting to really pick up, we’re learning about culture. Last but not least Leadership Seminar. I love that class. I actually just had my interview to be an orientation leader for next fall this morning. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Speaking of work, it is going pretty well. I learn something new every day and I meet new people in the office all the time so I can’t complain.
Okay my lovely readers, I'll be back in a couple of days, so take care of yourselves, be safe, be well, and be you! Have an amazing week, and if I do not post by Valentine’s Day, then, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! All right, I have some more homework to do before today is officially over. ^_^
