Nathaniel King, Guilford's new Information Literacy Librarian, is the key contact for faculty wanting to scheduled library instruction sessions. In his role as Information Literacy Librarian, Nathaniel develops, coordinates, implements, publicizes, and assesses the information literacy curriculum for the College. He also will be developing library-related instructional materials, including online tutorials and management of the library's Web site.
Nathaniel has previous experience teaching undergraduate researchers in the Perkins Library at Duke University and the House Undergraduate Library at UNC-Chapel Hill. He also worked with outreach and reference services as an intern at the Environmental Protection Agency Library in the Research Triangle Park. Nathaniel holds a Masters of Science in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Wollongong in Wollongong, Australia.
