Leah McGinnis Dunn comes from the University of North Carolina where she was Director of Undergraduate and Branch Libraries. She has worked at UNC since 1998 where she also served as Head of R.B. House Undergraduate Library and Electronic Reserves Librarian. She was coordinator of the renovation of the Undergraduate Library from 2000 to its grand re-opening in August 2002. From 1996-1998, she was the librarian for the Bermuda Biological Station for Research.
Leah has served as co-chair of the Association of College and Research Libraries’ (ACRL) Undergraduate Libraries Discussion Group and the co-chair ACRL’s Electronic Reserve Discussion Group. Leah has served as President of the Librarians' Association at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a 2007 graduate of the Triangle Research Libraries Management Academy.
Leah holds a Masters of Science in Library Science and a Bachelor of Arts in English and African Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
