On Sunday, March 18, Guilford College will be expecting a visitor—a visitor and his company.
Admired contemporary photographer Cade Martin plans on realizing an idea for a photo shoot at the Patrick Dougherty sculpture in the center of campus. Tentatively titled Diamonds in the Rough, the images would center on color and fantastical themes. Body paint and extravagant props are to be expected (see sketch beow).
Make-up artists and models will be using the sculpture studio in Hege-Cox as well as Roy Nydorf’s office as workspace.
Students interested in volunteering at this event should contact Terry Hammond. At any rate, it should be exciting to see a professional-grade photography project take place at Guilford.
